The following explains the official and final procedures and requirements in obtaining ABIA membership.

If a potential member thinks there may be any item required by the ABIA that they may fail to meet they are encouraged not to continue as there is a sizeable yearly dues requirement which is non-refundable.

Membership with the ABIA will be limited within local areas as described herein. Memberships will be issued only to prospective members in the order they are received who follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the online initial application for membership
  2. Complete payment of yearly dues.
  3. Submit current insurance / licensing documents
  4. Submit proof of quality and customer references as required
  5. Be approved for membership in their local area by the ABIA

Companies who meet the standards and are accepted into the organization will have certain levels of exclusivity to their areas. Areas with a radius of cities or urban areas extending 50 miles or less containing less than 500,000 population will be limited to 1 ABIA member.

Areas with a radius of cities or urban areas extending 50 miles or less containing more than 500,000 population will be limited to 2 ABIA members.

The ABIA is accepting only Top Level individuals and companies

Areas will be taken and temporarily closed once an applicant has completed the online initial application for membership. Once the area is closed it will not be available during the application process for that prospective member.

The ABIA will be incorporating aggressive advertising on a national level for it's members.

Membership dues will also cover legal fees incurred by the enforcement of misuse of the official ABIA logo (trademark registration in process) and other credentials belonging to the ABIA by persons not permitted to use such items in their advertising to protect the actual certified members of the ABIA who are entitled and permitted to do so.

The ABIA will actively enforce the illegal use of ABIA logos and advertising of non ABIA members through legal means to ensure it's members are protected and are the only companies with the right to display the registered trademark of the ABIA.

The ABIA membership will allow the organization to continue it's objective of raising standards in the industry and will allow it's members to establish their credibility with their customers and increase profits for their businesses by separating members businesses from the rest of local competitors. Members will be listed on the official ABIA website and will be permitted to use the official ABIA logos in their advertising.
